Delegate Body Meeting Updates
The Delegate Body had its monthly meeting on May 10th. Here are the highlights:
The Delegate Body passed Resolution #24
Resolution #24, titled Appointing Conveners, follows up on the structural reorganization outlined in Resolution #23. All 9 applicants were unanimously selected by The Delegate Body to convene the committees of their choice.
The responsibilities of Conveners are outlined in Section 5 of Resolution #23 and Section 3 of Resolution #24. All resolutions are available in the shared Proton Drive for all IJLB members.
The Delegate Body voted unanimously to move our official shared document drive to Proton.
The Delegate Body voted with 6 votes in favor and one abstention to sign onto the “Jewish Communities Statement Against the US/Israel War On Iran.”
This forgoes the earlier decision by The Delegate Body to draft an independent statement on the topic.
The Delegate Body also encourages individual bundists and chapters to sign on to the statement.
The Delegate Body voted to sign onto the statement as the IJLB instead as The Delegate Body of the IJLB with 4 votes in favor, 1 vote opposed, and 2 abstentions.
For a full record of the meeting, please check the Proton Drive for the meeting notes.
