Bund Bulletin Volume 1 Issue 2

Dear Bundists,

This week, the Provisional Steering Committee (PSC) discussed plans for the International Jewish Labor Bund’s onboarding process, financial management, the process for outlining a code of conduct, and our upcoming local development meeting on December 1st at 1PM PT. We also discussed our relationship to Bund-aligned media projects and made plans for an upcoming appearance on our first all-PSC edition of The Jewish Diasporist podcast!

We passed two resolutions which begin to set up the process for intake and membership and standardize the process for this regular Bund Bulletin. These are Resolutions #5 and #6 which we passed unanimously. We’d like to highlight the third point in our Resolution on the ‘Intake Form’ for clarity: “Until membership is defined, signing up via the Airtable ‘Intake Form’ does not constitute membership.” This means that, as of now, the Airtable form is simply a means of collecting contact information for prospective members. We will clarify the form’s relationship to membership in a future Resolution defining membership.

Additionally, each member of the PSC has agreed to the following action items:

● Come to next meeting with proposal for what should be done by end of term, and a timeline for actions needed to get there.

● Determine our financial situation and reimbursements.

● Set up Airtable ‘Intake Form’ (See Resolution #6) ● Approach Discord Moderation for Code of Conduct formulation.

● Popularise Local Development Committee meeting hosted by (name removed) on Sunday December 1, @1pm PT

● Clarify Bulletin workflow with Communications Committee per Resolution #5. ● Make inquiries regarding website development.
